Independence Day celebrations in Wenatchee this year will be a little different, with not fireworks show to light up the Fourth of July sky. The Wenatchee Parks and Recreation Department announced yesterday the show will not be happening due to a lack of funding. Dan Langager reports.

Wenatchee PAC Gets New Name, and Revenue

The Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee announced yesterday a ten year naming agreement with Numerica Credit Union. Now the PAC will be known as the Numerica Performing Arts Center at the Stanley Civic Center. Dan attended the press conference and filed this report.

Stamp Out Hunger May 10

It's a nationwide food drive May 10 and all you have to do is place non-perishable foods by your mail box. Mail carriers across North Central Washington will pick up them up in what's called Stamp Out Hunger. Bob Mark with Community Cupboard in Leavenworth and Dan Dickerson with the US Postal Service join us in the studio to talk about the annual event.
