Protecting Local Lands

The Stemilt Partnership announced yesterday their long-time efforts to protect 4,000 acres of land in the Stemilt Basin have been realized. Weyerhaeuser Columbia Timberlands has now officially transferred ownership to Chelan County and the state Department of Fish and Wildlife. Chelan County Natural Resource Director Mike Kaputa joins Clint to talk about the seven-year endeavor and what it means for the land and its stewards.
