Fishway Extensions Underway at Rock Island

We sent our own Dan Langager on location to Rock Island Dam to check out construction underway on several fish ladder entrances, essential to salmon passage thanks to the lowered river levels. With adult salmon migration beginning this week, engineers, welders, divers and resident fish experts are on the scene, and should have two of the three fish way extensions done by the end of the week.
