Even with some flakes over the weekend, winter so far as a whole has been remarkably not white. And that presents a problem for ski resorts that depend on snowfall – one of which is Stevens Pass. Skiers and snowboarders have been able to hit those slopes for about a week now, but with less than half the amount of snow they expect at year’s end. Dan Langager spoke with Chris Danforth to get the details on our tough ski season so far.

Cashmere Riverside Center Finds New Management

It was a tough year for the Cashmere Riverside Center. Back in October, the center’s operator vacated the building due to unpaid taxes. The city took over management of the center, with the hopes of finding a new vendor by the end of the year. It took about two months, but the Riverside Center now has a new ring leader.
