WVC President Reacts To Governor's Proposed Budget Cuts

Gregoire’s proposed budget is out. Among the cuts designed to fill a $2 billion hole is a 15% cut to higher

education. To get a sense of how this cut would play out locally, Isaac Kaplan-Woolner called Wenatchee Valley

    President Jim Richardson said WVC would still continue to offer a quality

education, but that 15% cuts would be very hard to stomach. Services to students would certainly suffer.
