Trickling Effects of the Columbia River Drawdown

Thanks to the crack found at the Wanapum Dam and the

subsequent drawdown of the river, the whole debacle doesn’t just have the local PUDs in a whirlwind, but

many other agencies as well – some of which include the state departments of Ecology and Fish and Wildlife,

and the Washington State Conservation Commission. Our own Dan Langager has the latest on how the low Columbia

River levels are affecting those players, as well as irrigators and salmon, and what’s being done to

alleviate a myriad of problems.
