Continuing our week-long look at Child Protective Services here in Chelan and Douglas Counties. Yesterday we talked about how drugs and alcohol abuse are the prime driver for many of these situations endangering our region’s most vulnerable. But what happens when CPS is actually called out? How do the parents prove they’re safe care givers? What processes do the children go through if it’s proven they’re not? KOHO intern Bryce Newberry has the details.
