Program Aims To Help Returning Vets

August 28, 2012

ever present for those in the military who have seen live fire. For many of those veterans, re-adjusting to

civilian life once the bullets stop flying is every bit as harrowing as dodging mortars.

Leavenworth group wants to help veterans with that process. Called “Project At Ease”, it aims to

give vets and their families some time in a peaceful setting with others who are dealing with the same challenges

and issues.
