September 26, 2011

style="font-size: 16pt">Wenatchee Police are still looking for a man who fled on foot after a head-on collision

and is considered armed and dangerous. 36-yer old Jason Fowler led police on a car chase after being stopped

for a traffic violation. In the pursuit, he swerved in to oncoming traffic and hit an SUV head-to-head on

Maple Street, totaling his Acura. The driver of the SUV was treated at Central Washington Hospital and

released that same day. After the crash, Fowler took off on foot and led police on an all-day chase including

police dogs, a believed change of clothes by Fowler, and an alleged almost-heist of a bicycle out of a

homeowner’s garage. As of 5:30 this morning, Rivercom officials say Fowler is still at

large. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous…he’s a white male, 5 feet 11

inches tall, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
