Local Production Company wins 5 National Awards

"font-size: 14pt">The team behind the forthcoming Mountain Biking Documentary “Pedal Driven” has won

5 national awards for commercials produced in 2009. Howell at the Moon, a video production company based in

Wenatchee, has received five Ava Awards (Audio/Visual

Awards) for advertisements produced for a variety of clients during the

past year. The award-winning spots were created for Chelan County's tourism board, The City of Leavenworth, the

Wenatchee Valley Convention and Visitor's Bureau and Northwest Public Radio.

The Ava Awards is an international competition

administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) to honor excellence and

creativity in the field of audio/visual productions. More than 1,700 entries were submitted this year, and other

winners included ESPN, IBM, and Time-Warner.

Howell at the Moon Productions received three Platinum awards (the highest AVA
