Regional Fruit Associations' Merger Moves Forward

No longer will multiple associations oversee the fruit produced in our region, thanks to a merger now underway between The Washington State Horticultural Association, The Wenatchee Valley Traffic Association, The Washington Growers Clearing House and The Yakima Valley Growers and Shippers Association. Beehive Reservoir Gets New Pipe

With the current irrigation pipeline up the Beehive area over 60 years old, cracked and leaking, Chelan County and the Beehive Irrigation District have contracted Pacific Engineering in Wenatchee to replace the 3.5-mile pipe.
