The Wenatchee and East Wenatchee city councils got somewhat of a surprise last week when 11-year-old Hope Schooley of East Wenatchee told them it's time to end fireworks within city limits. She did the work all on her own and is ready to take her concerns all the way to the state level. KOHO News Intern Bryce Newberry sat down with her to talk about her big plans for the community.
Executive Director of the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce Shiloh Schauer joins us for her monthly chat to talk tourism during the second quarter, her involvement in the Governor's Parks and Outdoor Recreation Task Force and a program called Leadership Wenatchee Valley.
Wenatchee Mayor Frank Kuntz joins Clint in the KOHO studio for his regular chat to talk union contracts, a future vactor waste treatment facility and a potential consideration on banning fireworks within the city.
