EAGLE CREEK FIRE UPDATE (9 a.m.)

Good progress was made over the weekend on the Eagle Fire. The 1,313-acre fire is now 60 percent contained.

The Eagle fire northeast of Leavenworth is still around 1,200 acres, though the containment level is now about 25 percent. Crews are working today on the north edge of the fire as no solid line has been built there yet.

The Eagle Creek Fire northeast of Leavenworth is now at 1,186 acres with a 10 percent containment level.

The fire has grown to over 500 acres in size with evacuation levels increased to 2 and 3 for over 60 residences.
