Possible Shooting at Elliott Ave. Condo

Wenatchee police are investigating the death of two people at a condominium complex on Elliott Avenue today. Police found the bodies of an elderly man and woman in a vehicle in a garage. They also found a handgun in the vehicle. The victims appear to have been shot. The Chelan County Coroner is also investigating.

Cuts Ahead for Food Stamp Benefits

It's a heated issue not just here in North Central Washington, but around the country. Government officials want low-income residents to be prepared for a reduction in food-assistance benefits – some $4 billion starting in 2014. That works out to a loss of $114 million here in Washington over the next year. How could these cuts affect people on food stamps here in our region? Our own Dan Langager filed a report.
