Chelan-Douglas Land Trust Exceeds Fundraising Goal

As part of the Foothills Campaign, the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust announced today they not only met their $8.15 million goal, but surpassed it by $250,000. Executive Director of C-D Land Trust Bob Bugert stops by the KOHO studio to talk about the fundraising and how the money helps preserve natural recreation and wildlife habitat areas in the Wenatchee Valley.

Cafe AZ's Closes its Doors Indefinitely

Cafe AZ’s in Wenatchee is no more. It’s been a part of the Wenatchee YWCA’s many outreach and training programs for almost four years, but Director of YWCA Jenny Pratt announced Wednesday they were closing the doors indefinitely. Chelan Unveils First Electric Car Charging Station Today

Electric vehicle tourism in North Central Washington gets another big boost today. The first electric car charging station in Chelan opens today at Campbell’s Resort. The public dedication ceremony is today at 5:30 pm in the Campbell’s Resort parking lot, 104 West Woodin Ave in Chelan.

Extending the Apple Capital Loop Trail

Crews broke ground yesterday on a one-mile section of a total five-mile extension to the Apple Capital Loop Trail running from the Odabashian Bridge to Lincoln Rock State Park.
