Local Law Enforcement Sees Pros and Cons of Marijuana Legalization

    I-502 is gatehring steam. The initiative would legalize

up to an ounce of dried marijuana, and pot would be sold and taxed at state-licensed stores.

/>    But what does local law enforcement think of the possibility of marijuana being legalized for

recreational use in Washington?
    The Columbia River Drug Task Force was formed in 1991 and

is funded by the participating agencies as well as through grant money from the state and federal government. The

Chelan County Sheriffs Office currently operates as the lead agency, providing supervision and administration for

the Task Force.
