Today we have an opinion piece from a local KOHO listener.
Eric Link from Peshastin finally got a red light camera ticket in Wenatchee, and he is not happy about it. It's not just the $124 ticket. He argues that the cameras represent a privatization of government law enforcement duty. Link thinks the red light cameras ought to go. He points out they have 2 years left before the contract with the company in Arizona that owns them renews automatically. Link says the cameras are ultimately bad for business in Wenatchee.
