The community continues to grieve the

deaths of three beloved Leavenworth locals, killed Sunday in an avalanche near Stevens Pass. Contractor Johnny

Brenan, 41, Stevens Pass Director of Marketing Chris Rudolph, 30, and International Freeskiers Association head

judge Jim Jack, 46, are being honored in a series of celebrations and remembrances.

KOHO’s Isaac Kaplan-Woolner spoke with a few folks in the area who wanted to share thoughts and memories of

their fallen friends. And at a special city council meeting held yesterday, Leavenworth Mayor Cheri Farivar

ordered the flag at city hall to be flown at half staff in honor of Brenan, Rudolph, and Jack.

/>    In addition, a memorial celebration is being held at ski hill Wednesday night, and Mayor

Farivar said the Fest Halle is being made available for a celebration some time next week, but a day has not yet

been finalized.
Individual memorial celebrations are also being planned.

/>    Family and friends say, "there will be a celebration of life ceremony for Chris Rudolph

this Thursday from 4-9pm at the Sleeping Lady Resort in Leavenworth. Please come honor a dear friend and share

stories with the people whose lives he's touched."
    Information on other individual

memorial services were not available at this time.
