Leavenworth Pastor Shares Thoughts on School Shooting

Today we are going to take a different look at the aftermath of the tragic school shooting Friday in Newtown,

CT that left 20 children and 8 adults dead. As the nation continues to cope with these horrifying murders, people

turn to different places to seek comfort, wisdom, and understanding.

       A group of congregants from

Leavenworth’s Faith Lutheran Church organized a candle light vigil on Saturday, and Pastor Alex Schmidt

spoke about the shootings in his Sunday Sermon.
