Leavenworth Hospital Celebrates New Facilities

    After years of planning and multiple seasons of construction, the new

Cascade Medical Center has been officially unveiled.
    Leavenworth’s hospital never

actually closed. But a ceremonial ribbon cutting was held Sunday to show off the major upgrades and renovations

that were made possible, in part, by bonds approved by voters in the upper valley, as well as funds raised by the

CMC foundation.
    The roughly $14.4 million project makes CMC a state of the art facility,

and represents an incredible turnaround for the hospital that in the 1990s looked like it might shut down
