St Joseph School Crab Feed

Recycled Percussion

Since Justin Spencer formed Recycled Percussion in 1995, the band has been unstoppable. Their junk rock music became a national phenomenon week after week during their smash hit performances on America’s Got Talent in 2009. Playing over 4,000 shows and over 400 corporate events in over 15 countries, the group has also done guest appearances on “Carson Daly”, “The Today Show”, “China’s Got Talent” and the Latin Grammy Awards. After being featured on the cover of “USA Today” and being voted National Act of the Year a record-breaking six times, the band gained world-wide recognition. In 2010, they sealed the deal and became headliners in Las Vegas! Taking 2013 by storm, Recycled Percussion has elevated their energy level, created new performance elements and continues to bring junk rock music to the Las Vegas Strip nightly at The Quad Resort and Casino!

Caveman Roar and Pour 5k Trail Fun Run and Wine Tasting Event

Get your 'run on' and sprint into spring with us on March 21st for the second annual Cave B Estate Winery Trail Fun Run and Wine Tasting Event: the Caveman 5K Roar and Pour! We received such terrific feedback last year that we are excited to do it again! The Cave B property is truly a special place, the beautiful natural setting and samplings of fine wines is a terrific way to sprint into spring! Runners and walkers experience Eastern Washington at its finest running through a varied terrain along the Cave B vineyards, rolling hills, over the sage dotted desert plateau and by the cliff with breath taking views of the Columbia River Gorge. This is an event for all age and all levels: walkers, joggers and runners. As always families are welcome at Cave B, including friendly members of the 4-footed variety.

We encourage all community members to participate in Columbia River Reads one book series! Visit your local library to check out a copy of The Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and Their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Each of our libraries will also be hosting a discussion about the book prior to the event. We invite those who have and those who have not read the book to attend this engaging talk from the New York Times Best Selling author Daniel James Brown at the Numerica Performing Arts Center Thursday, April 9th at 7:00pm.
