Rock blasting closure is planned for Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and is scheduled to last for one hour or more. During blasts crews will close I-90 eastbound at Gold Creek milepost 56 and westbound at Price Creek milepost 61. There are no services past Exit 53 eastbound or past Exit 70 westbound during blast closures.

California police settle with woman punched by officer for $1.5 million

(Reuters) - A woman who was repeatedly punched in the head by a California Highway Patrol officer has settled her lawsuit for $1.5 million, police said on Wednesday, and the money will be used for her long-term care. Marlene Pinnock says the blows left her with slurred speech.
