Grief Place Finds New Location

After an alleged arsonist destroyed the Fifth Street building housing the Grief Place in Wenatchee, the loss support center is regrouping and moving into a new location within the next two weeks. WA 38 - Coming Soon to a Tree Branch Near You

It's unofficial name is WA 38 and it's the newest experimental variety of apple to come out of North Central Washington. Saplings are now in the ground and you'll probably see WA 38s on store shelves in about five years. To talk about the process of creating a new apple variety we're joined by Jim McPherson with the Washington Tree Fruit Research Commission.
