DOT Closes Highway 20 for Season

For many, the holiday season means travel. Winter conditions have already caused several accidents in our area, specifically the head-on collision near Rock Island Friday and the jack-knifed semi trucks near Cashmere yesterday. With the heavy snow that fell over the weekend, the Washington State Transportation Department is beginning to make their annual winter closures of our region’s highways, including Highway 20. Dan Langager has the details.
