Beehive Reservoir Gets New Pipe

With the current irrigation pipeline up the Beehive area over 60 years old, cracked and leaking, Chelan County and the Beehive Irrigation District have contracted Pacific Engineering in Wenatchee to replace the 3.5-mile pipe. Project Engineer Tom Kutrich joins Dan in the KOHO studio to talk about why the project is long overdue.


City of Wenatchee Update

Methow Valley Recovery (Slowly) Moving Forward   

September 03, 2014
Recovery efforts continue in Okanogan County after the largest wildfire in state history ripped through and claimed over 300 homes. A number of groups are combining their efforts to get assistance to both individuals and organizations affected. Meanwhile, this week Governor Jay Inslee will appeal the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s decision not to include federal aid for individuals in the area. Maranda Tubbs with sister station KOZI and our own Dan Langager have the details.
