More Loop to Love

We love our trails – whether it’s the many that traverse the Wenatchee foothills, the canyon trails outside Leavenworth or the Apple Capital Loop Trail. Work is underway to add another five miles to the trail system stemming from the Loop Trail moving north from East Wenatchee - called the Rocky Reach Trail. For the latest on the project, as well as a ribbon cutting ceremony tomorrow for it’s northern-most section, Dan Langager filed this report.

Cherry Harvest Underway, Ag Merger Nearing Completion

Early cherry harvest has begun here in NCW and estimates put this year’s crop as the third largest in local history. Also, the planned merger of four local agricultural associations is moving forward, after years of deliberation. Wenatchee Parks System Continues to Grow
