The time for canning and food preservation is fast approaching. And whether you're a veteran canner or looking to get into it, five classes offered this week and in the coming month at Wenatchee Valley College cover everything from vegetables to salsas to jams.
Teaching those classes is WSU Extension Educator Margaret Viebrock. She sat down with our own Dan Langager to talk about what the classes cover, canning practices and more.
