Wenatchee's New Riverside Drive Dedicated in Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Wenatchee’s new Riverside Drive was dedicated yesterday with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The one mile stretch of blvd that winds along the waterfront between fifth and ninth streets is designed to improve public access to the network of riverside parks but its also designed with economic development in mind. Riverside Drive was built at a pricetag of 9.8 million dollars the cost which was shared by the City and State Transportation Improvement Board. Riverside Drive will open to traffic in two weeks after the final landscaping is completed.
