Wenatchee Venom Fire Head Coach

The Wenatchee Valley Venom has fired its head football coach. A team official says Keith

Evans was released earlier this week and that Defensive Coordinator, Brian Smith will take over as interim head

coach. Evans compiled a record of 2 and 5 as the expansion team’s first head coach. Team President and Co-Owner,

Kyle Skalisky explained the reasons behind the firing in an interview with Wenatchee Bureau Chief Steve Hair.

Skalisky added that interim head coach, Brian Smith will be considered for the full-time position along with other

applicants. The Wenatchee Valley Venom is a member of the American Indoor Football Association.
