A 16 year old Wenatchee boy who was involved in a fist fight Wednesday is being treated for a fractured skull at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Sgt John Kruse with the Wenatchee Police Department says it appears the 16 year old agreed to fight an 18 year old at Pioneer Park . .
Kruse says at last check this morning officials at Harborview reported the boy was awake and alert and expected to fully recover. He says at this point no charges have been filed but that the investigation continues . .
Kruse explains that, since the fight was apparently consensual, criminal charges may not be pursued .
Kruse says the identities of the two combatants were not released.
