With a big assist from mother nature firefighters are
making progress in efforts to contain the Wenatchee River Complex and the Rainbow Bridge wildfires. Crews have
been busy strengthening containment lines in the Nahahum Canyon where 15-hundred acres were scarred over the
weekend. Officials say Fire lines have been established on all but the northeast flank of the fire. Steep, rugged
terrain has slowed progress in that area; fire managers anticipate completing that segment soon. In an interview
