Wenatchee Police Use Myspace to Arrest Three Robbery Suspects

Myspace has become more than a social networking site. . . Police are increasingly turning to Myspace as a law

enforcement tool. Case in point , The Wenatchee Police Department employed the website this week to arrest three

suspected gang members as suspects in an attempted robbery. The incident occurred last Thursday (092409) afternoon

in the vicinity of the Wenatchee Post Office when three suspects tried to rob him of his IPhone. Sgt Cheri Smith

with the Wenatchee Police Department says the break in the case came when a friend of the victim recognized one of

the suspects from a myspace page . . .
