After soliciting more than 4,000 responses, the Wenatchee School District is ready to talk change.
The district saw the results of its “Wenatchee Learns” educational initiative this week. The survey asked school district patrons to give their opinions on a number of suggested changes to the district, from possible curriculum changes to parent/student/teacher involvement to a possible 12-month school year.
All the proposals garnered a favorable response, with the exception of year-round school. You can check out the in-depth survey results here.
KOHO’s Clint Strand talked to Wenatchee Schools Superintendent Brian Flones about the survey, his thoughts on the numbers, and the timeline to actually see changes reflected in your child’s school experience.
