Wenatchee Budget Process For 2013 Worlds Less Painful Than Last Year
August 31, 2012
It’s the time of year when the leaves start to lose their green.
It’s also the time of year where that’s the color most on City of Wenatchee officials’ minds. We may call it “autumn”, but for Wenatchee officials it’s Budget Season. Mayor Frank Kunz says while there are always tough decisions to make this time of year, this year’s budget process should be worlds easier than last year’s ordeal. Instead of taking a hatchet to the budget, Kunz says the focus this year will be on adding to the surplus and rainy day fund, as well as some possible hiring opportunities.
Kunz talked about that issue and more with KOHO’s Clint Strand on Friday’s KOHO Morning Show.
