Wenatchee Bank Robbery Suspect Charged

Formal criminal charges have been filed in connection with

the recent armed robbery of a Wenatchee Bank of America branch.
23 year old Joshua B. Hurt, of Cashmere was

charged with first-degree robbery Wednesday in Chelan County Superior Court.
Police allege in charging

documents that Hurt robbed the North Wenatchee Avenue Bank Monday (02/14/11) armed with a knife. He reportedly

made off with over 6 thousand dollars in cash. Police arrested Hurt within minutes of the robbery after a witness

called 911.
Hurt has been charged with first-degree robbery which carries a possible sentence of life in

prison if he’s convicted.
