NEWPORT, Wash - Washington State Patrol is investigating a collision that has left one person dead at Deeter Road and Deer Valley, about 11 miles east of Newport, Wash. WSP says the collision was reported as one vehicle down an embankment with one person trapped inside. The crash happened just before 5 p.m. and the road is fully blocked with emergency vehicles on the scene.
