State's New Charter School Law Ranked 3rd in Nation

Washington voters legalized public charter schools in the November elections. Now, a new report ranks our state’s charter school law 3rd in the nation out of 43 states that allow the alternative public schools.
To talk about the high marks for our new law, and what comes next for charter schools, Isaac Kaplan-Woolner called the WA League of Education Voters, which helmed the campaign for charter schools.
Charter schools are expected to begin operation in Washington by fall of 2014.
