Runway Extension Plan Endorsed by Pangborn Airport Governing Board

Pangborn Airport’s governing board has formally endorsed its preferred alternative for a longer runway. The action taken Thursday also sets into motion plans for the realignment of Grant Road to accommodate the longer runway. In an interview with Wenatchee Bureau Chief Steve Hair, Chelan County Port District spokesman, Mike Armstrong said the action follows months of study by the Airport’s public advisory committee . . .
