Its possible that the long awaited extension of the Apple Capital Loop trail to Lincoln Rock State park could become a reality this summer. Transportation officials in Chelan and Douglas County’s are putting together a list of projects that could qualify for funding under the proposed Federal jobs stimulus bill. A preliminary list presented to the Wenatchee Valley Transportation Council this week includes 2.7 million dollars for the Rocky Reach Trail project.
