Pangborn Airport Begins Search for New Aircraft Fueling and Maintenance Operator

Pangborn Airport board members have decided not to renew a lease for aircraft fueling and

maintenance operations with Wenatchee Jet Center. The company formally known as Wings of Wenatchee has held the

Field Base Operations lease at the airport since 2001 but has been losing money over the last several years due to

the recession and its impacts on the general aviation industry. As a result the company owes the Airport just

under 17-thousand dollars in rent payments. The board has decided to put the lease out for bid. Two possible

bidders were in attendance at the meeting. Executive Flight which is also located at Pangborn and Columbia

Pacific, a Tri-Cities based company

Wenatchee Bureau Chief Steve Hair attended Wednesday’s board meeting

and talked to Airport Manager Greg Phillips and Airport Board President, Alan Loebsack . .
