NCW Hunkers Down For Another Snowstorm

November 29, 2010

Batten down the

hatches, sharpen those snow shovels…and stretch. Don’t forget to stretch. You’ll need

it.

"font-size: 14pt">After a couple day reprieve, Mother Nature stands to hit the Wenatchee Valley with another

haymaker this afternoon. The National Weather Service issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for

the Cascades eastward. Expect four to eight inches of snow on the Wenatchee Valley floor and up to 14 inches

of snow in the passes between tonight and Tuesday afternoon.  One bright spot in the forecast is that while

we'll feel the snow, it won't be accompanied by the bone-chilling cold we felt just one week ago.  Daytime

highs this week are expected in the upper 20's to low 30's.
