Memorial Day weekend is upon us and as summer activity starts to pick up throughout Chelan County, the City of Chelan is revisiting its current noise ordinance. Memorial weekend is one of the busiest of the year for the Chelan area, with the sheriff’s office bringing in six extra deputies from King County. Dan Langager has more.

WHS Students Spearhead Local Maker Faire

A group of thinkers and doers at Wenatchee High School have put their heads together to bring the Makers movement to the Wenatchee area. Two of them just took a trip to the nation’s capital for a Maker Cities Roundtable and are already planning a mini-Maker Faire at the Town Toyota Center October 3.
