Chelan PUD Still Debating New High-Energy Rate Class

Enchantments Overnight Permit Period Expanded

Starting Monday Feb. 15, campers can begin applying for permits to stay overnight in the Enchantments area of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. But this year, National Forest officials expanded the window for when you need that permit.


Federal Trade Assistance Approved for Laid-off Alcoa Employees

Legionnaires Investigation Expands to Wenatchee Hospital

During their investigation into an increase of Legionnaires’ disease cases since October, the Chelan-Douglas Health District found Legionella bacteria in the cooling tower outside the Wenatchee Valley Hospital and Clinics campus. However they don’t believe there is a correlation with cases linked to Safeway, as Dan Langager reports.
