How would you like to tend to a 4 by 8 foot raised garden bed that comes complete with compost, topsoil, and irrigation, one that is all ready to be planted? Well, if you live in the upper valley, now you can! A new community garden near Barn Beach is opening up for the season, and looking to get more people involved.

    Pendleton added that there are some extra tall raised beds available in the community garden for elderly or disabled people who might have a harder time bending down to garden.
