There’s going to be a change in leadership at the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society. Stephanie Manriquez has announced that she plans to step down as the agency’s Executive Director at the end of March. In a news release its reported that she wants to pursue other interests and spend time with family and friends.
Manriquez took over the reigns of the Humane Society when she was appointed interim director in 2009. Prior to that she had served as a board member starting in 2005. Manriquez says she intends to continue working with the agency in a volunteer capacity.
Manriquez will be feted at the upcoming benefit auction January 29th.
