*Correction: This report erroneously states there are "56 gallons" of waste at Hanford,
leaving out the crucial qualifier of "million." There are over 56 million gallons of radioactive
waste at the Hanford site.
The U.S. Energy Department released a "framework for
conversation" for agencies involved in the cleanup of the Hanford Nuclear Reservation. Reaction has been
mixed. Our own Dan Langager reports.
