The Fourth of July is tomorrow, and lots of folks are ready to celebrate the holiday. Some will opt for glittering showers of sparks and roman candles with a backyard fire works display. Others will pack up the family for a camping trip with marshmallows roasting on an open fire.
Both of these popular activities make wild land firefighters nervous, as they have the potential of setting off a major wild fire incident. So, to check on the conditions of wild fire fuels in area forests, Isaac Kaplan-Woolner called the Wenatchee River Ranger District.
