There’s no denying we live in a region ripe for getting outside
and enjoying wilderness activities. Whether you’re a guide, skiier, kayaker, hiker or hunter, even the most
basic outing can call for great safety precautions. Even then, when something does go wrong, do you or someone
you’re with have the necessary medical knowledge? Our own Dan Langager shadowed a wilderness first responder
class to find out about wilderness first aid and the benefits of learning such skills.
