Fire has doubled in size in the last 24 hours to now over 500

acres. Officials say the fire is moving fast and crews are working quickly to suppress it and create fire

Chelan County Sheriff's Office has issued a level 2 evacuation notice for 60 homes up Eagle Creek

Road from milepost two eastward to the end of the pavement. A level 3 evac is in effect for three home

class="text_exposed_show">s and officials say they have been asked to leave.
PIO Mik Mueller said about

120 personnel are working on the fire, including two bulldozers, multiple engines, two helicopters and two air

tankers. He said more crews are en route and will be added around 6 a.m. tomorrow.
A public meeting is

scheduled for tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Chelan County Fire District #3 fire station located on Chumstick Road

across from Cascade High School.
