Commissioners with the Port of Chelan
County have given the green light to start the process of demolition at the site of the planned Pybus Public
Market along Wenatchee’s Waterfront. The project is a public/private endeavor involving the Port, the City of
Wenatchee and a private developer. Port Executive Director, Mark Urdahl says Commissioners have approved a plan to
develop plans and specifications in advance of going out to bid for the demolition of the old industrial building
that fronts the Pybus steel building on Worthen street . .
